Why We Built the Rapid Pro

We wanted to build something different — a boat that reflects the way we actually love spending time on the water. We took an outside-the-box approach to the design, focusing on what makes a boat exciting, capable and practical both on the river and the lake.

The Rapid Pro is a 14' welded aluminum jet boat with four seats, powered by an Indmar 2.3L EcoBoost producing 310 HP. It features a purpose-built EcoJet pump, trim tabs, stomp grate, closed-loop cooling and a UHMW-reinforced bottom for added protection when the river gets rough.

And we don't just say it's river capable — we've put it to the test. The Rapid Pro has successfully run technical sections of the Upper Red Deer River and operated in water around 1–1½ inches deep. When you're ready to leave the river behind, the Rapid Pro is just as at home on the lake — ready for tubing, wakeboarding, knee boarding and all the fun that comes with a day on the water.

Fully finished, thoughtfully designed and built here in Alberta, the Rapid Pro is made for the adventures that keep you coming back to the water.

We didn't want to build just another jet boat. We wanted to build the boat we'd want to take out ourselves.

Are JetsUp boats welded aluminum?

Yes — all JetsUp boats are built using welded aluminum construction. This provides superior strength, durability, and impact resistance, making them ideal for shallow water, river environments, and demanding use.

Is the bottom of the boat coated or protected?

Yes — the bottom of JetsUp boats is coated for added durability and performance. We apply a POR-15 protective layer, followed by a UHMW (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) coating to reduce friction and help the boat slide more easily over shallow or rocky terrain.

What kind of water are JetsUp boats designed for?

JetsUp boats are built for rivers, shallow water, and backcountry access — places traditional boats can’t go.

They feature a closed-loop cooling system, meaning the engine is not directly exposed to the water it operates in. This allows for use in both fresh and saltwater environments.
